Some of the report comes from a poll/survey that they've been running on LinkedIn since early April. Here is a a screenshot of the poll to get a better idea:
The LinkedIn poll is pretty neat, allows to quickly view the different sections and has more detailed breakouts if needed, such as this one breaking out the applications used by busines size:

Interesting to note that the smaller the business, the more diverse the applications are, potentially suggesting that either 1) less competitive in-house solutions to deal with or 2) could be off as the higher quantity of respondents are in the small category, ie more respondents automatically gets more & different types of applications used. You could counter this by saying the even though large and medium had same number of respondents, the medium businesses still had more applications.
Also of note in the last chart is Online Collaboration application, and the fact that it's completely missing from enterprise. This is vs Online Colloaboration dominating in large and small, and still a high percentage with medum.

Thanks for the wonderful coverage, Matt. We realized that finding the right SaaS vendor that perfectly fits one's needs and wants can be a difficult, if not stressful, task. Each SaaS provider offers various features and services. We wanted to make it easier for people who are seeking a SaaS solution.
Along with the white paper, HyperOffice.com recently released other free resources, including a SlideShare presentation and YouTube video, on selecting a SaaS vendor and what to look for. The bigger deal is, there's a free live webinar hosted by Rusty Weston, former head of Global Services and InformationWeek.
